Abstract
The SKA offers a unique opportunity to study the
structure, dynamics, chemistry and evolution of the cool regions of
the universe by imaging thermal emission, and in particular molecular
lines. This paper gives examples of science drivers which could be
investigated further. We invite comments to feed into the appropriate
SKA Working Groups.
